RECORDER FINGERING
Below is a simple chart to show you the fingerings for a standard descant recorder. It is in treble clef which is the normal clef for a descant A solid black dots means cover the hole up an o means leave it uncovered.
The dot to the left is the hole at the back of the recorder and should be covered when required by your left thumb. Top 3 holes on the front of the recorder are covered or not by the first three fingers of your left hand and the bottom four by the fingers of your right hand.
I am afraid it isn't a very snazzy pictorial guide, but I hope it will be clear and simple to follow.
